The room we occupied, though in need of some renovation, was spacious and feeling clean after a long day of travel. It featured a comfortable sitting area, perfect for winding down. What stood out the most was the hotel's on-site restaurant. I indulged in their gourmet burgers, which represented good value considering their quality. The breakfast was another highlight, with a generous spread that prepared me well for the day ahead. A few minor critiques would be the outdated furnishings and carpeting; however, it's essential to consider the affordability of this stay compared to similarly priced accommodations in the area. The staff were welcoming and helpful, contributing to a relaxed atmosphere. If you appreciate a blend of comfort and reasonable pricing, Altes Zollhaus is a solid choice. For an immersive experience in Bad Tölz without overspending, it certainly meets both luxury and value with its offerings.
